What do I need to bring to my first class?

Wear comfortable clothing and bring your own mat. No shoes or socks are needed while in class. We will be barefoot.

We use Therabands and resistance loops in classes. You can bring your own or borrow our equipment at no charge.

We do disinfect and clean all equipment after each use.

What benefits can I expect from taking a Pilates, Yoga, or Barre class?

There are many benefits to taking any of the three class types we offer including a stronger core, improved balance, lean muscles, increased energy and flexibility. You can read more about the benefits of the Green Bird classes on our blog here, here, and here.

What is your cancellation policy?

Advanced registration is required and spots are limited in these classes in order to allow for plenty of space to spread out. Clients may cancel up to 12 hours before the start of class with no penalty. If there is a cancellation within 12 hours of the class start time, then the client will not have the class credited back to their account.

Can I drop in for class?

At this time, due to the limited spots available for each class reservations are required. If you are wanting to join a class at the last minute, you can always call or email us to see if there is a spot available.

Can I come to class if I have never taken a Pilates Mat, Yoga, or Barre class?

Absolutely! The classes are designed for all levels. The instructor can give you modifications based on any injuries or limitations you may have. Take breaks when you need to and work at your own pace. Give yourself 3-6 classes to get used to the technique, quick transitions, and the different types of exercises. It takes time to learn new exercises.

Can I take class if I am pregnant?

As long as you are cleared to exercise by your doctor or healthcare provider then you are welcome to take any of the classes we offer. There are prenatal modifications that can be offered for any of the classes. Just let your instructor know and they are happy to help you tailor the workout for your needs.
